So I have just obtained 94GB of Kai which I didn't realize it was until now.. I'm wanting to watch DBZ all way through but should I stick with Kai which is in good quality (720p) or original dub thats like (320 - 420p) ?

What im trying to ask here is Kai worth watching?

Everyone is going to have their own opinions on wheather you should watch Kai or not, but I strongly think that you should because it has better voices, better acting, better music, and it's more faithful to the manga in terms of storytelling and much less filler.

One of my main concerns was that it was going to miss parts of the story out, but if what you're telling me is true about it's more faithful to the manga I think this is going to be the way forward for me.

I just thought it was going to be a massive difference to the normal dub.

The original dub had anime filler. The only filler that dbz Kai had was filler during battle scenes.

I personally like the original better. Probably because I grew up watching it and I love the voices. Also the music is great too.

Kai is worth watching, the filler in the original drives me insane.

Kai gets straight to the point. You'd appreciate it I guess. I enjoyed the original though because I didn't know what filler was at the time and was a hardcore DBZ fan.

But Kai is good, especially when it's in high def.

Kai has much improved dialogue script and pacing, and mostly the same voice actors. The original dub has it's nostalgia value, but I think Kai is much more well made. It preserves the spirit of the original Japanese series in a way the original English dub of DBZ didn't.

You think Coleen Clinkenbeard is good?!
You enjoy the monotone Kuchiki music?!
The filler, compared to others, ain't that bad.

Thala na Gethu!

You have your choices pal, but it wasn't worth the hype.

They freakin re-run an old show, only with updated OP, ED, improved dub, thats's all.

Its simply a hollow gold cylinder. Nicely packaged, looks attractive, but its nothin if you figure out. For me, Kai = GT. No difference. I know this'll earn the irk of many Kai fans, but hey, I could state my views.

If it's better, why not? It's not like that ridiculous Mighty Morphin Power Rangers repackage where all they did was add silly little graphics throughout the show. With Kai, they improved just about everything. But, yes, you are entitled to your opinion.

I'll say if you want something closer to Toriyama's story, then go with Kai. If you're just looking for entertainment and don't care if it deviates from the original story, you'll be fine with the dub.

KAI, IMO, has it's high points in voice-acting and such and has a great OST, although there are low points as well (at some points, voices are dull, a few voices just don't work, and the Yamamoto score is soon replaced by Kikuchi...).

KAI is also truer to the manga, but there are some things that are off in the dub, though it wouldn't matter too greatly for entertainment purposes. IIRC, they also leave in some filler too, but mostly just some filler scenes here and there that don't make any drastic changes to the plot.

It's got pros and cons, but I'd say go for it.

I love everything about Kai, you got a problem with that!?
I enjoyed Gohan's Kai voice a lot better than his original voice.
No, I hated their music replacement, I enjoyed yammamoto's music a lot better.
The original dub had so many uneccesary fillers that nobody cares about! Kai does a great job being more faithful to the manga.

Just because you hate Kai doesnt mean everyone else does!

Let's leave off the hating here ;) It's all personal opinions anyway :) No need to get worked up over it.

I personally enjoyed what i've seen of Kai so far, but at the same time the original is still special to me. Try both and see what you like perhaps - different people like different things!
